About.Future Business Leaders of America, or FBLA, helps high schoolers prepare for careers in business through mentoring, competitive events, educational programs, and leadership development. FBLA helps students connect with college and career opportunities. FBLA gives students the opportunity to network with other FBLA members within their school and throughout the state.
Carrollton FBLA has had over 50 members in previous years. Members participated in fundraising for March of Dimes and attended the regional event held at Western Illinois University and the state event held in Springfield, Illinois. |
BenefitsBenefits of being in FBLA include: developing leadership skills, earning scholarship opportunities, creating portfolios for college, making new friends through activities, receiving recognition through rewards, and making lifelong connections. FBLA also offers you a chance to travel around the country by qualifying for Nationals. Every year Carrollton High School is competitive at State and has members qualify for Nationals. Carrollton High Schools has had 43 students place in the top 10 at the Illinois State Competition since 2015 and 11 members have been eligible to attend the National Competition. Every year the National Competition rotates throughout the different parts of the country.
